Absolutely! Every Mud Mates Mud Kitchen is crafted from solid New Zealand timber and built tough to handle rain, sun, water, and years of play -no matter the season. They feature a quality stainless steel bowl, galvanised fixings, and H3.2 treated timber designed to withstand all weather conditions. Built to live outdoors year-round, our Mud Kitchens last at least 15 years, so the fun never stops.

Our Mud Kitchens come in three sizes to suit different spaces, ages, and budgets:

Absolutely! We can send your Mud Kitchen to your nearest Mainfreight depot for you to collect. This is often a more affordable option than home delivery. Please contact us to find your closest depot, request a shipping quote, or arrange depot collection.

When you place your pre-order, you’ll be able to select your preferred delivery date from the dropdown box: 8 - 12 December or 15 - 19 December. We’ll do our best to deliver within your selected dates, but please allow 1–2 days either side, as delivery time can vary depending on your location and Mainfreight’s schedule.

As your dispatch date approaches, we’ll be in touch again to confirm the estimated delivery date and provide tracking information.

Mainfreight will contact you on the morning of delivery with an estimated delivery time window.

A 1 year warranty is provided for all outdoor play equipment.

If there’s an issue with your order – whether it arrives damaged, isn’t what you expected, or has a manufacturing fault – you must contact us within four days of delivery. We want happy customers and will do our best to make things right.

When you receive your order, please inspect it carefully before signing for it. If there is any visible damage, do not accept the delivery and notify us immediately. Please also take photos of the damage. Unfortunately, if a damaged item is signed for on delivery, we are unable to lodge a claim or offer a replacement or refund.

If damage is discovered after opening the package, we must be notified within four days of delivery to lodge a claim with the shipping company. Claims made after this period cannot be processed.

We’ll accept a return and offer a refund or exchange only if the product has a manufacturing defect or has been damaged in transit. If just one part is affected, we may provide a replacement part instead of replacing the full item.

If the issue is due to a fault or damage caused by Mud Mates or our shipping partners, we’ll cover the return shipping costs. In all other cases, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Mud Mates reserves the right to determine whether a refund, exchange, or replacement will be provided based on the situation and the condition of the returned item.

Our Mud Kitchens come fitted with a typical male garden hose fitting. Simply connect your garden hose as you would to an outdoor tap.

Your Mud Mates Mud Kitchen is crafted from durable, treated radiata pine designed to withstand all weather conditions. The timber is treated to resist rot for up to 50 years. As a natural product, some timber may change colour over time - pine can sometimes develop a greyish tint - but this doesn’t affect its durability or treatment.

To keep your Mud Kitchen looking its best:

• Wipe it down regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washers.
• During extreme weather or winter months, consider covering it or moving it to a sheltered spot to help prolong its life.
• Periodically check and tighten any fixings to keep it sturdy and safe.
• If you want to refresh the appearance, you can apply paint, oil, or stain - your local hardware store can recommend suitable products.
