Mud Mates children’s Coveralls slip straight on over what your child is wearing, making them so easy to use. When playtime is over, simply slip them off and you’ll find your child’s clothes underneath are still clean and dry. The result? Fewer clothing changes and a reduced laundry pile, saving you time and money.

Made from a lightweight yet durable waterproof polyester fabric (PVC free), they’re comfortable for babies and young children to wear and do not restrict their movement. Designed to withstand the rough and tumble of childhood, these coveralls are long-lasting, ensuring excellent value for money.

Like all Mud Mates products, our overalls are individually handcrafted in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Each pair features an elasticated hood, wrists, and ankles to help keep the mess out. Easy to care for, simply put them in the washing machine and hang on the line to dry.

Ideal for daycare, the sandpit, the farm, watching sports, painting, and all outdoor and messy play adventures that kiwi kids love. They even protect crawling babies’ clothes and prevent knee holes.

When dressing your child, consider the number of layers and type of fabric of the clothes they are wearing under their Mud Mates. Active children will naturally sweat to cool their bodies, and the clothing they are wearing under their Mud Mates can become damp with sweat. As a first or base layer, merino is a great option as it stays warm when wet and wicks away moisture. Read more here.

Please note our garments are not seam-sealed and therefore not 100% waterproof after prolonged water exposure. Follow our washing guidelines to ensure product longevity.

Children’s Coveralls Colours and Sizing

Choose from one colour or two-tone from our fabulous range of colours and camo prints.

Sizes are 6-12 months, 1, 2, 3, 4-5 years, and 6-7 years. For help with ordering the correct size, please refer to our Size Guide.

If your preferred size and colour combination states ‘available on backorder,’ this means we will make it to order for you. Simply click ‘add to cart’ and complete your purchase as normal.
